Renew Your Mind, Speak the Word and Receive Blessing
Proverbs 16:3 – Commit your works to the Lord, And your thoughts will be established. Commit means to put into a place for disposal or safe keeping. Place your life, your thoughts, your plans and your family into the hands of the Lord for safe keeping (do the Word). If you want success and establishment, who better than the Holy Ghost can bring the completeness you want?
John 16:7 says the Holy Spirit is a helper and it is to your advantage. He has come, so commit it all to him and allow him to do his part. Allow the master of success to work in you as you surrender yourself, your thoughts, plans and words. Commit your plans and desires to Jesus. He can weigh them and stabilize you and any situation in which you may find yourself. His part is the leading and directing. Our part is the listening, doing and receiving. It takes the pressure off when we do our part and we allow Him to do his part.
It's not all up to God. He wants us speaking His word and getting results! You will have many thoughts and plans in life -- some yours, some other people’s and some sent from Satan. As a believer, you want thoughts and plans from above.
Renew your mind to His written word - Romans 12:2. Be strengthened in the inner man – Ephesians 3:16. Establishment comes when we give over and give place to God’s word and He leads, guides and brings correct direction. Off of whom are you bouncing your thoughts, plans and desires? Sometimes when we are a little discouraged or fighting a battle, it's amazing how many “experts” show up to tell you what to do. Filter your sources and what you hear by the word of God and the leading of the Holy Spirit, not your emotions!
Who you listen to will determine thought patterns that cause you to have success or failure, establishment or disarray. Read John 10:10 – Satan’s thought patterns are negative – steal, kill and destroy. Jesus’s thought patterns are life abundant, blessing and peace! We are made in God’s image and His pattern is the one for us -- healing, financial blessing and peace. Is God sick, broke or worried? No! Satan’s thought pattern is always lack and defeat. God’s thought pattern is always prosperity and victory when we are doing things His way. Psalm 112:3 - Wealth and riches will be in his house, and his righteousness endures forever.
Deuteronomy 8:18 – And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day. God gives you the ability to get wealth, use it for His glory and establish His covenant right here right now in your life.
