Proverbs 4:7 (NKJV) - Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding. God’s wisdom for your life should be a priority. Go after divine wisdom with all you have in you. If God’s wisdom is important to us, we will rearrange our lives, making divine wisdom a principal thing, not allowing trivial things to get in the way of it.

James 1:2-8 (NKJV) -  My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. 4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. 6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. 7 For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; 8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways. Be patient to receive this divine wisdom, for God’s goal is for us to be complete and lacking nothing. When you have decisions to make, you need divine wisdom. Patience in His presence settles your mind down so you can receive wisdom in your spirit. Divine wisdom brings His best to us, and it is so far above natural means.

The first rule for asking is that we must ask in faith built on the word. Doubting can cause you to be driven by the enemy instead of being led by the Holy Spirit. Double-mindedness is designed to stop you from receiving the wisdom of God, causing you to make wrong, nonproductive decisions. The cure for doubt is speaking the Word out loud.

God is willing and waiting to download His wisdom into us by the Word and Holy Spirit. He is not holding it back. He wants you to have it as much as you want it and need it. We just need to make the connection by asking, and He will pour divine wisdom into us abundantly!

Verse 5 - If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally. “Liberally” means simply, openly, frankly, sincerely and bountiful. His wisdom can be simple to you, not closed or hard to find. He gives it straight and in a bountiful supply. When it comes, it’s important to write it down. Don’t be shy, my friend. God is ready for you to ask, believe and receive His best plan for your life. He knows the best place for you to work and live and the relationships in which you should be involved. He can fix a multitude of problems with a word of divine wisdom in your life. Confession: I receive divine wisdom and I will be complete, lacking nothing in Jesus’ name!
