Romans 4:19 – 21 (NKJV) - And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah's womb. 20 He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, 21 and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.
Abraham was up against a wall, and he was strengthened in faith. Build your faith now. Faith is your fuel to sustain you. Where should we spend most of our time in our thinking and decision-making -- in the spiritual realm getting answers, or in the natural realm doing it ourselves? If you focus on the natural only, you will waver. Be strong in faith! You have the victory, and you can exercise faith now.
Abraham did not ponder on the deadness of Sarah’s womb. Deadness, in any situation, is designed to sap you of your faith and strength. Speak life, and life will come! Deadness is a smokescreen of the enemy, so do not give into it! Many give into lack and worry instead of believing for miracles and using God’s Word! How does God take a hundred old year man and a woman with a dead womb and birth Isaac? Simply by believing the promises that God made and acting on them and not pondering the deadness in the situation.
Abraham did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief! Be solid; do not waver! When you sense wavering, rebuke it right away by the Word, with faith in the promises made! Wavering starts with unbelief! An avenue which allows unbelief to travel is focusing on the natural only. God spoke his Word and the promises are made. Faith in the promises of God causes you to receive strength right now! Unbelief messes up priorities, but strong faith keeps your priorities in line for you to receive.
Whatever challenge is in front of you, build your faith in the word and then tackle the situation by speaking the word. You will see change. Many start trying to fix problems themselves, but really what is needed is strong faith in God using His Word. He gets the glory when the manifestation of what you are believing for arrives!
