Mark 4:39-40 (NKJV) And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. 40 And he said unto them, why are ye so fearful? How is it that ye have no faith?
Jesus talked to the storm directly and dealt with it as soon he was awakened. When He found out what the problem was, He did not talk about it. He talked to it, rebuking the storm. If you read the instance in its entirety, they were afraid, but Jesus was not! If He is in you, you do not have to allow fear to overcome you! Speak to it now, rebuking the problem, and then speak peace!
The answer to a stormy, rough situation is for somebody to rebuke it and speak peace instead! It might as well be you. When fear is present and raging against you, you must access your faith by speaking the word! So, build your faith for the storms that come and you will not be overcome by the wind and the waves.
John 14:27 (NKJV) – Jesus said, Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
Jesus has left all the peace you need. It is yours and resides on the inside of you if you are in Him. Many look for it somewhere else. The peace he gives is to prosper you in all stages and areas of life. You are a peace carrier, and you can you draw it up from your inner man.
Move and live in the peace of Jesus. He knows all that you face, and He realized on the cross that you would deal with the very problems you are dealing with today.
Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. A troubled heart is what the enemy wants, and he knows if he can trouble your heart, he can continue to speak to your heart. Clean out your heart with the peace of God. Glory to God for His peace. It is a cure-all.
It is up to you and me to not be afraid. Take God at His word and allow His peace to override trouble and fear--fear of lack, fear of failure, fear of weather, and fear of people. His peace can do it. Speak peace, walk in peace and rest in peace. He is the Prince of Peace, and he lives in you.
Live in faith, not fear. Faith words produce faith. Words of fear produce fear. You have the word of peace, the word of God. Live in the word and you will live in peace and prosperity as you apply it. May God bring you an abundant harvest as you sow into His work!
