The Anointing Breaks The Yoke
Isaiah 53:5 … the chastisement for our peace was upon Him. Peace, here, means completeness, soundness, welfare, health, prosperity, and soundness in body. God wants nothing missing and nothing broken in your life. The anointing of the Holy Spirit by the blood of Jesus is the way to receive peace and abundance!
Isaiah 10:27 … burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and His yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing. Jesus wants you free from the weight and worry which is stacked on you by the enemy! The anointing of God is fully capable of lifting off the burdens.
Webster’s dictionary defines a "yoke as an arched device formerly laid on the neck of a defeated person; a frame fitted to a person's shoulders to carry a load in two equal portions. A good friend of mine said, “A yoke is a control mechanism.” Satan wants to yoke you and work you at his pace and wear you down. God wants His anointing to lift you up by being led by His Spirit! Satan wants you yoked with him so he can whisper lies and tie you down with worry! Get free! Stop him now!
Acts 10:38 … how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. Who did the anointing? God! With what? The Holy Spirit and Power! Where was God? With Jesus, and He is with you and in you as well. Allow His anointing and power to manifest in you right now to break off yokes to do good and heal you right now! Who is the oppressor here in this verse? Satan. Jesus wants to remove oppression as He did in the book of Acts.
Read Luke 4. Jesus was filled with the Holy Ghost when He faced the devil. How much more should we be filled? There is no reason to try to handle Satan or his yokes and burdens without the anointing and the word of God. In Luke 4:16–17, Jesus spoke the word and the anointing manifested! In Luke 4:18, Jesus said, “The Spirit of the Lord was upon Him.” For what? To destroy yokes and remove burdens! 1 John 2:20 But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things. You have burden removing, yoke destroying anointing power of God.
Jesus said in Matthew 11:30 Take my yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. Be free today and enjoy your life in the Lord!
