Turn on the Light
Ephesians 1:18 - the eyes of your understanding being enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of his calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints. God wants your mind clear of any darkness or confusion, and he wants you to know his hope and calling in every part of life and life situations. Get more of God’s Word, and get more light. You are a child of light. That is why darkness does not work for you. God’s plan is faith and light; Satan’s plan is fear and darkness. If darkness is trying to overshadow your life, finances, children, and family, then get knowledge of Jesus and shine the light in you. Speak light!
John 8:12 – Jesus said, “He who follows me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” This is a guarantee for victory no matter what you are facing that may be dark. Just follow Jesus and you will stay in the light. If darkness has come on your mind, renew it with light of the Word. (Read Psalm 119:105) Follow Jesus out of the shadow and smokescreen of doom and gloom and the world’s way of thinking and talking. You followed Him, and he gave you light to be saved. Why not follow him to get light for living now? He wants to shine in you for your victory and he wants to shine through you to bring victory to others.
Genesis 1:3 – Then God said, “Let there be light and there was light.” Why did he say it and not just think it? So the light would shine! Our words are spiritual containers of light or darkness and they will produce light or darkness to our friends, family and money. It is up to you to speak and receive light. What if God had not said it? We would have no light! He created light and named it light. Wouldn’t you think he knows more about light, darkness and how they work more than anyone? We have the light to walk in. We just need to access it! Since he said it, then we can say His Word and receive! Light be, and it will be!
Ephesians 1:17 - … may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. If you want solid answers, it requires more knowledge of Him. Enlightenment comes with more knowledge of him. Wonderment comes where there is little or no knowledge of Jesus. Check your Word level and you will know and understand why your faith and light levels are strong or weak. If you have light, wisdom and revelation, how can you be defeated by darkness?
